Spline shaft armature removal: The steps to follow to remove the spline shaft
armature, the steps for basic maintenance on the AC compressor units. To remove
the spline shaft armature, remove dust cover and insert pins to hold unit in
place. Now remove retaining nut and remove armature with finger tips. Then
remove the dust cover that is under the armature.
