The steps to removing the clutch assembly from an AC compressor, the rotor
assembly will need to be removed. Next the field coil assembly will need to be
removed then the new field coil will need to be installed and the rotor assembly
after that. The proper steps need to be followed to get this unit back together
incorrect working order. After the field coil is removed it is important that
the compressor be reassembled in the proper order, the field coil will need to
be properly aligned and then set into the bracket. Place the rotor on the mount
and lightly hammer down the housing, be sure not to crush down the bearing too
much.
