On all the units built by Sanden are all tagged with the country and the date of
production on the unit. the unit is tagged with a 6 digit serial number followed
by a manufacturing month and then year then. The last 2 digits on the compressor
serial number will be the location code (00-06 Japan, 70-79 USA, 80-89
Singapore)
Compressor specifications are also listed for the belt
tension and the speed rating of all compressor types created by the Sanden
corporation.
