When converting the AC system from R12 to R134a the whole system will need to be completely drained before the system is evacuated. be sure to pull a vacuum for at least 30 min before recharging the system with the new oil and freon for the system. Be sure to remove all the tags and stickers that indicate R12 so that in the future there will be no chance of the incorrect freon or oil being used.
