The hot air passing through the Evaporator boils the refrigerant which helps the Evaporator absorb a great amount of heat. The absorbed heat is let out of the vehicle along with the refrigerant. The Expansion device has three pressure points to regulate the amount of refrigerant entering the Evaporators. They are the Evaporator, bulb and the spring.
