Everyone likes to have a pleasant driving experience even during a hot summer day and this is usually only possible when your Acura vehicle is air-conditioned. The air conditioning system has got a number of parts working togetherin unison to provide you a cool interior. One such contributing component is the A/C accumulator/drier. Depending on the type of AC system in your vehicle, your car will either have an accumulator or a drier. These two components play an important role in your AC system.
The accumulator in the AC system is used to store surplus liquid refrigerant. When it comes to an AC drier, it has got two important functions. The AC drier separates gas and liquid and it also removes moisture and filters the dirt. It can be found connected to the condenser output of the high pressure side, while the accumulator is attached to the evaporator outlet of the low pressure side of the air conditioning system. If all the components are in good working condition, then you need not worry about the cooling systemof your Acura.
